How To Live And Not Die ^HOT^
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
How to live and not die
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.
For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him. Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.
I will not die an unlived lifeI will not live in fearof falling or catching fire.I choose to inhabit my days,to allow my living to open me,to make me less afraid, more accessible,to loosen my heartuntil it becomes a wing,a torch, a promise.I choose to risk my significance;to live so that which came to me as seedgoes to the next as blossomand that which came to me as blossom, goes on as fruit.-------------------------------The poem is a candle that my soul holds out to me, requesting I find a way to remember what it is to live a life with passion, on purpose. There is only enough light to take the journey step by step, but that is all any of us really needs. [...]When you have the courage to shape your life from the essence of who you are, you ignite, becoming truly alive. This requires letting go of everything that is inauthentic. But how can you even know your truth unless you slow down, in your own quiet company? When the inner walls to your soul are graffitied with advertisements, commercials, and the opinions of everyone who has every known and labeled you, turning inwards requires nothing less than a major clean-up.Traveling from the known to the unknown requires crossing an abyss of emptiness. We first experience disorientation and confusion. Then if we are willing to cross the abyss in curious and playful wonder, we enter an expansive and untamed country that has its own rhythm. Time melts and thoughts become stories, music, poems, images, ideas. This is the intelligence of the heart, but by that I don't mean just the seat of our emotions. I mean a vast range of receptive and connective abilities, intuition, innovation, wisdom, creativity, sensitivity, the aesthetic, qualitative and meaning making. It is here that we uncover our purpose and passion.--Dawna Markova, From "I Will Not Die an Unlived Life"

David says although the enemy quenched me like the fire of thorns, IN THE NAME OF THE LORD I will destroy them, he declares I shall live and not die but will declare the marvelous works of the living God! The Lord has chastened me sore but has not given me over to death! Oh my!Here is an Easter promise for you my friend live and not die, because the lord has not given you over unto death! You may be suffering but God has not given you over unto death!, here is the cure to your death my friend, Jesus came here on earth, they bound him and crucified him, little did the enemy knew he was just fasttracking the story of our redemption, he made the first mistake (Matt 27: 64)!
I knew that, on average, women live longer than men. In fact, 57% of all those ages 65 and older are female. By age 85, 67% are women. The average lifespan is about 5 years longer for women than men in the U.S., and about 7 years longer worldwide.
Not, how did he die, but how did he live? Not, what did he gain, but what did he give? These are the units to measure the worthOf a man as a man, regardless of his birth.Nor what was his church, nor what was his creed? But had he befriended those really in need? Was he ever ready, with words of good cheer,To bring back a smile, to banish a tear? Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say,But how many were sorry when he passed away?
People are now living longer than they used to, but does that mean they live healthier? Not necessarily. In a study of 42,000 people 100 years and older autopsied after death, researches found the vast majority died with a chronic disease. So we may be living longer, but we are more likely to die of disease than of old age. The biggest culprit behind the increase of chronic disease over the years is diet.
Eating vegetables is also vital. Whole veggies protect the telomeres on DNA, which keeps cells healthy as they age and divide. They aid liver and lung functioning and even cut your risk of certain cancers.
Stage knows that even if a person once attempted or contemplated suicide, it doesn't mean that's how their life will end. She knows this because she's a living example. She's also the creator of Live Through This(Opens in a new tab), an initiative that documents the portraits and stories of suicide attempt survivors. Stage has interviewed 188 people in 37 cities across the U.S. who once tried to end their lives but didn't.
JESUS is our Resurrection and our Life. We are the products of JESUS the Resurrection and the Life. The hold of death over our lives has been destroyed. We are the generic new creation Zoe Life believers in CHRIST JESUS. Those appointed to die have been set free by the Blood that was shed on the Cross of Calvary.
Through the Blood of eternal covenant, we move out of the pit of death, dryness, waste and premature death. All the patriarchs in the old testament Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, etc lived long.
Wings performed "Live and Let Die" live during their concert tours and McCartney continues to play it on his solo tours, often using pyrotechnics during the instrumental breaks. It has been covered by several bands, including Guns N' Roses, whose version appears on their 1991 album Use Your Illusion I. One of the more popular covers of the song, their version was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance at the 35th Annual Grammy Awards in 1993. In 2012, McCartney was awarded the Million-Air Award from Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI), for more than 4 million performances of the song in the US.
"Live and Let Die" was previewed in the 1973 television special James Paul McCartney, which aired on 16 April in the United States and 10 May in the United Kingdom. In the segment, McCartney and Wings were shown performing the song in his studio, while clips of the film were shown, before the film's US theatrical release on 27 June. In his contemporary review of the single for the NME, Ian MacDonald wrote: "McCartney's fairly reasonable solution to the given problem 'Write, in less than 25 bars, a theme-tune for the new James Bond movie' is to 'Let It Be' for the first half, wailing absently and with a curious notion of grammar, about this 'ever changing world in which we live in', before sitting back to let a 3,000-piece orchestra do a man-in-the-street's impression of John Barry. It's not intrinsically very interesting, but the film will help to sell it and vice versa."
Sales of the single release and of the sheet music were "solid." The sheet music used the line "in this ever-changing world in which we live in" as part of the opening verse of the song. In the Washington Post interview more than 30 years later, McCartney told the interviewer, "I don't think about the lyric when I sing it. I think it's 'in which we're living', or it could be 'in which we live in', and that's kind of, sort of, wronger but cuter," before deciding that it was "in which we're living".
In Wings' live performances of the song, the instrumental break featured flashpots and a laser light show. McCartney has continued to play the song on his solo tours, often using pyrotechnics. "Live and Let Die" is the only song to appear on all of McCartney's live albums (except for the acoustic-based Unplugged).
In 1984, McCartney asked "Weird Al" Yankovic when he was going to parody one of his songs. In 1992, Yankovic asked for permission to put his parody "Chicken Pot Pie" on an album. McCartney denied the use because he is a vegetarian and did not want to promote the consumption of meat. Yankovic, a vegetarian himself, said he respected the decision; however, he has performed the song live in the 1990s as part of a food-themed medley.
A music video was made in November 1991 featuring the band playing live on stage and showing old pictures. The video also was made shortly before Izzy Stradlin's departure, and it is the last video in which he appears.

My mindset began to shift after a close friend betrayed me, and I lost my connection to the streets. Then I transferred from a Delaware prison to SCI-Chester, a Pennsylvania facility with many more educational and counseling opportunities. I began to think about you more, and about how my actions altered so many lives. Finally, I realized that the street lifestyle was all one big lie. There is no love there. I no longer wanted to be Scrap. It was time to do some good. 041b061a72
